Black Chrome I is a stainless steel look with an extremely subtle metallic flake. This color is a transparent polyester powder coat and has a high gloss finish.

Transparent powder coatings allow the underlying substrate to influence the final color, depth, brightness, and reflectivity. The S-Panel image and Prismatic Powders swatches are applied over a smooth, bare aluminum substrate; while Super Chrome Plus UMS-10671 provides a bright, reflective base for candy and transparent topcoats, the resulting appearance will not be identical to the S-Panel or swatches. Less-reflective substrates may produce a softer or more muted appearance, so we always recommend shooting a test panel to confirm the desired results.

Black Chrome I, PPB-4373 has a cure time of 10 minutes at 400 degrees F. The thickest portion of your part metal MUST reach cure (400 deg. F) temperature before you start your cure timer of 10 minutes.
