I am interested in applying Satin Poly Gold PMB-6487 to a set of wheels. I am looking to match a set of wheels located in your Satin Poly Gold PMB-6487 image gallery. Specifically the Porsche GT3 RS Wheel shown. When I select the image it shows that only Satin Poly Gold was used with no Clear Coat listed. Do you know if this wheel had a clear coat applied and if so which clear coat would it be?

Keep in mind that the images shown in our gallery are uploaded by the applicators themselves. We have no way of knowing if filters are used and we try to determine that the color selection is correct but often times applicators forget to mention a powder or want to keep their finish a trade secret. That being said this wheel does in fact appear to have Satin Poly Gold PMB-6487 applied. If a clear is applied it could be Fog Clear PPB-4761 which has a matching gloss level. I do recommend a clear coat for wheels in order to protect the gold finish from road debris and adverse weather and Satin Poly Gold is a finish that should have a clear coat applied to keep the metallic finish from oxidizing.
