Does highland bronze require a clear coat?

The answer to this question will depend heavily on if the part(s) you’re looking to coat will be placed outside and exposed to sunlight or not. We rate this particular color to have Limited-Good UV Resistance; so if the application will be an exterior use one, I would look into using the corresponding clear coat to compliment the base coat’s gloss level. If you would like to enhance the gloss level you can look into adding our Clear Vision (PPS-2974) over it instead. Our Fog Clear (PPB-4761) would be the best clear coat to use if you’re looking to maintain the ‘Satin’ finish on the Highland Bronze!

Hi I currently have Prismatic Gold on my Compomotive wheels and had bronze chrome before that, both are in your gallery. I'm interested in the Highland Bronze but want to see if the gold flake that's in the Bronze Chrome could be added.? Thanks Gary
