BRONZE CHROME

You can see a slight shift in finish brightness depending on substrate or base-coat color. Applying over Ink Black will provide a slightly darker overall finish or provide more contrast for the metallic flake to "pop". Of course application thickness and transfer efficiency, type of equipment used (fluidized hopper), gun tip, etc., will also play a role in finish outcome. We offer a service where you can call in and order a panel with two coats or even three coats applied to see what the final outcome should be before ordering your powder. If you would like a custom spray-out of any combination, we can provide that for a fee of $9.95 each plus shipping. This would be a custom panel with two coats of your choice. For a custom panel with three coats (base, mid and top coat), the fee is $14.95. The custom panels measure 3” x 5” and can take approximately 2 - 4 days to complete. Any order for such panels would need to be called in as they are not available online at this time.

Bronze Chrome PMB-4124 is essentially a base coat. Adding a base coat underneath Bronze Chrome depends on your use. I might recommend a Primer coat like ESS-6518 if you are going to be applying Bronze Chrome on a set of Aluminum wheels that see a lot of miles over wet conditions and salty roads. In general Bronze Chrome has Excellent UV stability and Salt Spray resistance with a Clear Coat applied.
