Project Story
Bird bath of cast iron and cast aluminum taken apart sandblasted to bare metal. Epoxy primer (ESS11150) applied and half baked. Base is Prismatic Cosmos, frogs Granny Smith Green. Post is Triple Bronze with Disco Moss top coat. Bottom of Sunflower is Black Frost under Transparent Copper. Sunflower has Splatter Black center, Flag Red, Bright Orange and Yes Yellow. The Cardinal is Stone Black under Strawberry Fusion. We worried that the epoxy primer,a new formula with lower temp/time, would create issues. We have another project that we used the new formula, not realizing it was new with lower temp/time that has to be completely sandblasted down and reworked. The Sunflower knowing the new limits of Epoxy Primer temp/time worked out fine.Hopefully other places realize that Epoxy Primer ESS11150 has the same name as Epoxy Primer ESS6518 which is no longer available.
