Does US Burnt Bronze (UMB-0492) require a clear coat?

Our US Burnt Bronze does not require a clear coat by any means, however, to extend the lifespan of this coating even further it can be wise to apply one. Our Clear Vision (PPS-2974) offers automotive grade protection in a high-gloss finish. If you are looking for a lower gloss option to keep the Satin finish, we offer a complimentary clear for that as well.

How do I locate the cure schedules for each powder I order? In particular, what is the cure schedule for US Burnt Bronze?

We offer too many colors and powder types to include printouts in each box, so we make our cure schedules available for download on our website. From the "Shop" tab, find the color you want to download, select or search for that color. When the S-panel screen appears you will find the "application guide" link just above the S-panel image.
For US Burnt Bronze the cure time is 10 minutes and 400 degrees F. Keep in mind that the cure timer should never start until the thickest part of your substrate reaches required cure temperature. This usually requires an infrared thermometer. We offer a great infrared thermometer on our website.
