I have a customer that is looking for HOT YELLOW PSS-1623 for brake calipers. Will it hold up to the heat?
Answer from Admin
Typical use or show use powders can hold up to the heat. However, racing applications are a different story. Powders in general can withstand sustained temperatures of 250 degrees F. with an occasional spike to 300 F or 350 F. If you feel that the customer will see glowing rotors often then there are other potential solutions like our Cerakote line-up. A different type of application but another way to earn revenue and this is growing in popularity.
