Can powders separate? I was recently using Classy Dark Green and most of it came out the correct color. Then a few times it came out a blackish color. I took my equipment apart to clean it twice and got the same results. I also noticed it left a black residue in my powder gun. Any idea what would cause that?

Certain types of equipment such as box shakers can cause separation with certain powders, such as metallics. Fluidized hoppers do a great job of keeping the powder mixing properly. What type of equipment are you using?
