Applying a clear topcoat may enhance UV resistance, weather stability, overall durability, and oxidation resistance. Please note that the use of a topcoat may alter the appearance, color, and/or finish of the base coat. Inconsistent mil thickness of either the basecoat or topcoat may result in uneven color. Apply both the basecoat and topcoat according to the recommended mil thickness specifications.
Allow the part to cool completely before applying the topcoat. After applying the topcoat, fully cure it according to the topcoat's recommended cure schedule.
