Does Ultra Black Chrome need to be fully or partially cured to apply clear top coat?

Like Super Chrome or other "chrome like" powders, Ultra Black Chrome should be fully cured before applying a clear top coat for the best appearance. However, for the best overall durability of the finish and best inter-coat adhesion, partially curing the base coat is always best, but some diminished reflectivity should be expected.

Is ULTRA BLACK CHROME a single stage or does it require a Super Chrome base coat?

Ultra Black Chrome does not require a Super Chrome Plus base coat, but we would recommend a clear top coat for exterior applications.
