Does Navajo Nugget PSB-6838 require a base coat/primer or top coat?

Depending on your use but for normal application Navajo Nugget PSB-6838 does not require a base coat/primer or top coat and has excellent UV protection and Salt Spray resistance on it's own. HOWEVER, if you are using this coating in harsh environments like salty air/water areas or places that see a lot of wet weather then perhaps a primer would be a good idea. For salt water, salted roads or beach front properties perhaps our Zinc based primer ESS-10171 would be a good idea. Indoor swimming pool rails or wet weather environments our Epoxy primer ESS-6518 is a great choice.
Clear Vision PPS-2974 is great for adding chemical protection and increased impact protection while maintaining a high-gloss appearance. Clear Coats do not add UV protection.
