Is a primer base or clear top-coat recommended for Alpine White PSB-4880?

While not always required, using a primer like our Epoxy based primers ESS-6518 or ESS-10171 can be a great way to ensure long-term substrate protection from corrosion. ESS-6518 for Aluminum and ESS-10171 Zinc-rich Primer for steel not only protects against corrosion but also provides a nice smooth base for your Alpine White PSB-4880 application. Applying a Clear Coat like PPS-2974 Clear Vision is also not necessary over Alpine White PSB-4880 but depending on your product's use adding a Clear Coat can provide additional impact and chemical resistance.
