Ghost Glow is a polyester clear top coat produces a glow in the dark effect after exposure to UV light and has a high gloss finish.
High Gloss: 85+ Gloss Units
Two Coat Information: To achieve this color as shown, Cloud White PPS-0408 must be applied as a base coat.
This clear topcoat produces a glow-in-the-dark effect after exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light. Other basecoat colors may be used but will alter the final appearance and may affect the intensity of the glow. The white basecoat and its high Light Reflectance Value (LRV) help maximize the intensity of the glow. The glow may weaken over time with frequent exposure to intense light sources or UV radiation. While sunlight can provide substantial charging when exposed for sufficient time, the duration of the glow is limited. This coating should be considered primarily for novelty or indoor applications. The duration and intensity of the glow may vary depending on factors such as basecoat color and LRV, coating thickness, UV exposure, charging time, and environmental conditions. We strongly recommend spraying a test panel to confirm the desired appearance and glow performance.

Can I spray a clear over a lightly sanded aluminum frame to seal the aluminum, will it hold up or will it need a base color sprayed first ? Thanks
Answer from NIC Industries Inc.
Yes, you absolutely can spray the clear on by itself to the aluminum surface as you intend to. This will definitely add some protection to the aluminum as well as showcase the workmanship involved with the frame.
