Watermelon Sugar is a transparent metallic polyester finish with a dynamic shift between rich green and vibrant reddish-pink tones as the viewing angle changes. Applied over a high-gloss black base, the color-shifting effect reveals dramatic changes in hue and depth, while the high-gloss finish enhances the metallic brilliance and dimensional appearance.
High Gloss: 85+ Gloss Units
Transparent Metallic powders are designed to be applied over a basecoat to create depth, sheen, and a metallic effect. For the color and finish shown on the swatch, apply over High Gloss Black PSS-11248. Other basecoat colors may be used but will alter the final appearance. We strongly recommend spraying a test panel to confirm the desired results.For certain colors, an additional clear topcoat may be required to enhance UV resistance, weather stability, overall durability, and oxidation resistance. The use of an additional topcoat may alter the appearance, color, and/or finish. Apply all coatings in accordance with the recommended Mil Thickness specifications and cure schedules.
