All methods of powder removal have their pros and cons, chemical strippers are no different. Chemical stripping agents like Jemstrip 427 we know work well, but require the use of a heated tank for an efficient stripping process that may still take several hours for complete removal.

What makes them convenient is that it requires very little attention, just drop it in the tank and let it go to work. Eventually the stripping solution must be replaced and proper disposal of the chemical must be followed. Stripping of larger parts may also require the use of a hoist. In a facility that strips a lot of parts, this kind of set up may be a beneficial investment.
Other stripping chemicals like aircraft paint stripper are effective and widely available. They work at room temperature (70F-80F), and can be used without a tank. Aircraft paint stripper can be applied by brush or dipped, but it is quite messy and can require a lot of "hands on" attention, brushing, scraping, brushing again etc. Aircraft paint stripper also does not work well below about 60F or over 90F.Also there can be variables in formula strength from brand to brand.
If part stripping is something you rarely have to do, this may be the most cost effective way to go.
