I used this color on a show bike that will be riddin 3-4 times a month during riding season and garaged the rest of the time. How long will it take for this color to fade?

Question by Support on May 31, 2018
ANSWER: It really depends on the intensity of the UV light and the length of time it is exposed on each ride. It could be a year before any noticeable fading occurs, or it could be 3-4 months. Hard to say for sure. NIC Support

Does the E series coating have a shelf life?

Question by Support on May 08, 2018
ANSWER: Epoxy powders have the same shelf life as other powders. The 'best by' date is about 6-8 months but if stored properly in low humidity and at a low temp 70F or below, they can be usable for quite a long time beyond the 6-8 month period. NIC Support

What temperature will this product withstand? I am looking for something that can withstand between 1,000 and 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit?

Question by Support on Mar 20, 2018
ANSWER: We do not recommend subjecting powder coating to sustained temps that are higher than 250F. For really high temperatures such as what you are suggesting, we would recommend using Cerakote High Temp. NIC Support
