Our Response To The State of Oregon Executive Order 20-12

To All NIC Customers and Partners, We have carefully reviewed The State of Oregon’s Executive Order 20-12 and have determined that this executive order does not prohibit NIC from operating. That being said, we will comply when possible with work space restrictions. Further, we have appointed both our Environmental Safety and Health (ESHA) Manager and Human Resources Manager to implement all necessary social distancing and hygiene procedures outlined in the order. Furthermore, NIC has been directed by several key defense partners regarding an important memorandum dated March 20, 2020 from the U.S. Under Secretary of Defense addressing the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and expectations directly related to critical work that we conduct with our partners to ensure national security. The Defense Industrial Base (DIB) is identified as a Critical Infrastructure Sector by the [U.S.] Department of Homeland Security. The Key Highlights that were communicated to NIC are as follows: - “Companies aligned with the essential critical infrastructure workforce definition are expected to maintain their normal work schedules.” - “We need your support and dedication in these trying times to ensure the security of the U.S. and its allies. In addition, and out of an abundance of caution, NIC has decided to pause all training classes for the next 30 days at which time we will evaluate current conditions and determine if training classes should be resumed. Finally, we want to assure our customers and partners that while we are taking all the necessary precautions, we remain 100% open for business. As a company that proudly manufactures our products in the USA, NIC remains fully operational, producing and shipping product as usual.
