History

Prismatic Powders is a Division of NIC Industries, Inc. and was founded in 1984 with a focus on developing and manufacturing custom powder coating colors and textures. To date Prismatic has developed over 6500 custom powder coating finishes, making Prismatic the worlds largest custom powder coating manufacturer.

Facility and Location

Prismatic Powders, along with NIC's Ceramic Liquids Division, Cerakote^™, are located on 10 acres of land in White City, Oregon. State of the art manufacturing, ASTM testing lab, Training Center, R&D Facility and warehousing are all located at this facility.

Over the past 10 years, NIC has invested more than $3 million in research and development of the world's largest and most comprehensive line of Powder and Ceramic Coatings. What sets Prismatic apart from traditional powder coating suppliers is our unique approach to serving our customers. Prismatic remains the only supplier to provide powder coaters with over 6500 color options, in the quantity they need, delivered with fast flat rate shipping options. Prismatic will continue to focus on manufacturing and delivering the powder coating solutions our customers have grown to know us by.

NIC's corporate structure is formed by three divisions, including:

Ensuring Quality

At Prismatic Powders, quality is a company value. From raw material procurement to finish product shipping, no process is completed without rigorous quality control testing. While larger manufacturers may spot check throughout their process, Prismatic remains the only powder coating manufacturer to test a sample from every order over 5lbs. In addition to checking every order, the QC sample panel is cut in half and accompanies each order. This industry leading process ensures our customers receive the highest quality powder coating.
