NIC's History

NIC Industries, Inc. was founded in 1984 with a focus on the research, development and production of custom coating products. To date NIC Industries, Inc. has created thousands of powder coating and ceramic formulas. Through years of development NIC has created some of the best performing industrial coatings on the market today.

Moving Forward

NIC’s team of professionals are involved in research, development and manufacturing of advanced performance-proven coatings for international distribution. As a result, the company has become world-renowned for its product discoveries and its cutting-edge work using nanotechnology.

The business is located on four acres of land in White City, Oregon, and includes state-of-the-art tools and machinery and a fully equipped in-house laboratory with standard and specialty testing equipment used to develop next-generation products.

Looking to the Future

Over the past several years, NIC has invested more than $3 million on research and development, resulting in the delivery of new coating technologies on a global scale. Over the next five years, the firm plans to continue its investment strategy to remain on the cutting edge of the coatings industry.

Our Corporate Structure

NIC’s corporate structure is formed by four divisions, including:

• Micro Dyne^©, which manufacturers the Cerakote™ line of high performance liquid coatings
• Thermo Dyne^©, to provide professional training and guidance in the proper application of Cerakote© products
• Prismatic Powders^©, the world’s largest provider of custom colored powder coatings
• Prismatic Liquids, the first high quality, designer automotive paint finishes to match our Prismatic powder coating colors
